I hope that everyone had a great Christmas. It's almost the end of the year and the beginning of a new year. I could talk about Livin the Fast Life for the rest of the week but I don't want to do that. For the remaining of the week I want to know what your views are. Trendy Topic of the Day: What is too much?
I love to hear what the readers think about the authors work. I have noticed that a lot of readers say there is way too much sex in Urban books. How do you feel about this statement?
Readers feel that there is way too much cussing in the books today? In the books that you read or have read do you feel like there is too much cussing and why?
In Urban and street lit readers have said that all the characters are alike in every book. In this genre of book do you feel like all the characters are starting to be the same?
I have also seen readers complaining about all the sex on the cover of the books. Do you feel like there is too much sex on the cover of the book? Would you choose to read a book with or without sex on the cover?
Many people say that Authors are all about selling their books. Do you think that authors would rather sell their book then network with their readers? Why do you feel this way?
Being an author I am always trying to be better and the views of my family matter to me. I feel like I would rather perfect my craft and produce great stories then trying to get rich quick. I want to make sure that you love every book that I put out and you notice that I only get better as each book I put out. I want to perfect my craft and get to know my family no matter how big or how small I am.

There are so many people out there that will hate on you and everything that you do but you have to not let it get to you. People hated on Jesus and he died on the cross for our sins so what makes you better than or different from him?
I am glad that people hate on me because it only makes me stronger and I will continue to get stronger each and everyday. You can humble yourself and still have haters. They are every where but you can't control what others think, say or feel. You have to remember to only do you and stay true to yourself and you will be okay. If we allowed others to control our destiny we would all be at a stand still and there would be no successful people or strong people to make it through the storms. Do not allow others to determine your future. With this said use the haters to become better and pray for them to stop being haters. You are in control.

Support to me is very important because it is not easy to do what you love to do if you don't have the support that you need. Everyone will not support you and you can't expect everyone to support you.
If one person or a couple of people support you, it is important that you hold on to that support and use the support to your advantage. Some people don't have support at all and believe that they can't do what they love to do.

Sex vs. Mystery
Hello Fast Life family,

Trendy Topic of the Day: Sex vs. Mystery
Today I want to know what you think on the topic of Sex vs. Mystery. There are so many authors out there today and everyone has a story. Some of the stories are the same just worded differently. I find that a lot of the books covers has to pertain to sex. I know that sex sells but I like to leave something to the imagination. I have been asked several times what makes me different then the rest? I will continue to answer the question the same way every time. I don't knock anyone for the way that they do their thing but me personally I will always give the readers exactly what they want without exposing the story that they want. I will always leave the mystery to my readers but at the same time continue making you want more. Like I said before I don't knock any one's hustle and I have definitely read some really great books by some really great Authors and we all have our own way of doing things. Will I continue to support these books? Yes of course without a doubt because no matter what at the end of the day I still have the passion and the fire to read, write, and become a better Author.
Would you buy a book that has something pertaining to sex or something simple on the cover?

What is considered an Urban Author

I hope that everyone is had a great and productive day. There has been some controversy about what makes an Urban Author. I want to know what you think and how you feel about this subject.
Trendy Topic of the day: What is considered an Urban Author?
It is my own opinion that anyone can be considered an Urban Author if they have lived the struggle of an Urban Author. You can write about anything but it is not easy to talk about living in the hood unless you lived in the hood. If you have never struggled you can not talk about the struggle that many Urban Authors actually go through. Everyone should have a fair chance to tell their story no matter what their race is. If they have the experience then they should be able to talk about what they know. Some writers also like to get others story and add their own twist on it and I think that is okay as well because everyone should be able to tell their stories and if you can get someone else to write and tell your story then you are blessed. Welcome to the Fast Life family
Hello Fast Life family,
It has been a while since I have thanked all the new members for joining our family and all of the members that constantly follow me each and everyday. I like to take time to welcome everyone to the Fast Life family and tell you a little about who I am and what I do. I also like to get to know each and everyone of you. I do things a little different around here because I am about being personal.
Here we are family. I don't see you as my fans or readers I see you as my family. Family support each other and talk to each other no matter if they agree or disagree at least you know exactly where they are coming from. Here we do not judge and everyone is allowed to say whatever they feel on the topic of the day. We all have our views and some are the same and some are different but no matter what you think you will not be judged. Here you have a voice and your voice will be heard. We talk about a numerous of things and they are not always clean. We are all adults here. My main thing is to make you feel right at home and comfortable and know that you can say whatever you want to say and not be judged by how you feel.
Let me tell you a little about myself and I hope that you will tell me about yourself. I am the author of Livin the Fast Life. I decided to write my story because I wanted people to hear my story and know that the contents of my book happen each and everyday and sometimes we are too scared or too ashamed to talk about what really goes on in our own communities. Everything that I write and produce I have you in mind. I want to continue writing great stories for you. I write not for the money of it but for the love and passion of it. Everyone has a story and its all how you view the story. I want to continue bringing you great stories that you can always relate to. I was born in Wichita Ks but traveled and lived many places trying to find my way. I moved to the DFW area determined to make a better life for myself and get on the right track. I decided to write my story because it was therapy for me. My best friend told me that it would make a great story and I wanted the world to hear my story. I am not only an author but I am also the founder of the non-profit organization Queenz Int'l. It is women uniting and helping teenage girls to know their self worth and to pursue their dreams. I am determined to help prevent teenage pregnancy and abuse. I am not looking to get rich off of my book but I do want to help a great cause and that's why all the proceeds that I get off the book goes strictly to the Queenz Int'l Christi's Angels Youth Program. I am determined to make a difference in my community and communities around the world. I believe in giving our youth hope. I am an author that is determined to stand out from all the rest because I am my own individual and the support that I get from those that support me and follow me each and everyday is priceless. Without you none of this would be possible and I am glad and honored to have the support of you.

I am blessed to be here with you yet another day. Every week I try to switch things up for you and that is not always a easy task to do. However there are so many things going on that it is almost easy to talk about anything. The reason that I love to blog is because it gives me the chance to let you know who I am and how I think on certain subjects. It also gives me the chance to share with you what I am doing in my life and with my career.
Just as much as I am happy to share with you I also love to see your feedback. I want to know what you think and how you feel. Like I said here we are family and you will not be judged or ridiculed for what you believe. You have a voice and your voice should be heard. It took me a long time to realize what it was that I wanted to do in life but I finally found my calling and that's writing and producing great stories.

Change
Hello Fast Life family,
I am glad that you have joined me yet another day. Thank you for taking the time out to come join me each and every day. As you have noticed I have jazzed up the page a little bit. I want you to know that this page is hot and you can enter at your own risk. There are some things that you may read or see that you may not like but this is a adult blog. If you are mature to handle what is said in this blog then this is where you want to be. I share a lot with my family and you share a lot with me as well. I love hearing your responses and your views on the different discussions. You make doing this all worth it.
Trendy Topic of the Day: Change
As you know I am all about change. Change is very important. The world is changing each and everyday and if we are not changing with it we are getting left behind. There is no reason to be left behind and in the dark of what is going on in the world. You can't enjoy life if you are not willing to change. In order to become a better person you have to want to be a better person and that requires change.
Some are willing to change and others are willing to remain the same. The problem that I have noticed with people today is that we want others to change but we are not willing to change ourselves. You can not change others into being what you want them to be. You have to accept them for who they are or move on and allow them to change on their own. You can give advice to someone but unless they are willing to take your advice they will not do what you want them to do and why would you get angry and upset because they don't take your advice. We all make our own choices and decisions in life. It is not up to you to live someone else's life. You have to live your life and only your life and make the necessary changes for you to succeed and live your life the way you desire.
Start being in control of your own life and your own destiny. You are the only one that can change you.

As you know I am all about change. Change is very important. The world is changing each and everyday and if we are not changing with it we are getting left behind. There is no reason to be left behind and in the dark of what is going on in the world. You can't enjoy life if you are not willing to change. In order to become a better person you have to want to be a better person and that requires change.
Some are willing to change and others are willing to remain the same. The problem that I have noticed with people today is that we want others to change but we are not willing to change ourselves. You can not change others into being what you want them to be. You have to accept them for who they are or move on and allow them to change on their own. You can give advice to someone but unless they are willing to take your advice they will not do what you want them to do and why would you get angry and upset because they don't take your advice. We all make our own choices and decisions in life. It is not up to you to live someone else's life. You have to live your life and only your life and make the necessary changes for you to succeed and live your life the way you desire.
Start being in control of your own life and your own destiny. You are the only one that can change you.

Living in the moment
Hello my Fast Life family, I hope everyone is having a great week. There has been so many crazy things going on and today I have decided to share my feelings and I hope that you will share your feelings as well. Here is your trendy topic.
Trendy Topic of the day: Living in the moment
There are so many things going on in the world and we seem to hang on to the negative instead of embracing the positive.
This should be a lesson to all of us. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us and we have to make the best out of each and every day.
This week we lost Joe Frazier the heavyweight champ and Heavy D the overweight lover. This is not including the friends and the family that some of us have also lost this week or in the last month. Life is beautiful and we should be thankful that we have a chance to see each and everyday. Life is not easy but it is what we make of it. Some of us will live life to the fullest and some of us will let life pass us by. You can be angry and miserable if you want to that is the choice that you make for yourself. Understand something though, you can live like that but next year you will still be in the same place and the people that was there with you will either be gone because they decided to move forward or they will be there with you being just as miserable. You could also find yourself by yourself as well because there are more people that would rather be happy and positive then angry and miserable. Life is too short to be angry or hold on to the pass. You can allow your pass to define you or you can allow your pass to make you better and stronger as a person. It is time for us to start enjoying life and loving who we are because we never know when our number is up. Whatever it is that you are going through give it to God and let it go. He will take care of everything if you allow him to. Appreciate the life that God has given you and make it work for you. You have to stand up and take control of your own destiny. No one can do that for you. Stop blaming others for your shortcomings and do something about them. We are all great individuals and have the potential to be the best. Let's live in the moment and enjoy every moment of it and thank God for allowing us to see another beautiful day because there are so many that didn't get to see this beautiful day or didn't get to make it through the remaining of the day. If you have a family member that you haven't talked to in a while call them up and tell them you love them. If you have a child that you neglect find them, hug them and tell them that you love them. If you have a friend that you got into an argument over something stupid call them and apologize and tell them that you love them because tomorrow you might not get the chance to say anything to them and you will wish that you had.
I am living in the moment and letting those know that I love you and letting all of you know that I love each and everyone of you. Because of you I am able to live my dream and continue to strive to be the best and I thank each and every one of you to the bottom of my heart. I am telling you to live in the moment and enjoy each and every bit of it. You only live once and don't allow anyone to tell you what you can't do.You can do anything you want to do there are so many possibilities. Don't let life pass you by. You are a winner.

Passion
Hello my Fast Life friends and family. I hope that everyone had a great day and is ready to relax a little and let your mind run wild.
Today I am giving you a Trendy Topic instead of parts of the book. I want to start the week off differently because sometimes we need to just relax and allow the day to run off of us. Well get you something to sip on, lay back and relax and allow me to take the pressure of the day off of you.

We look for the passion of a love one and some may have it and some don't. People everyday think they know the true meaning of passion and really don't. I am going to tell you what I think passion really is and I want to know what your definition of passion is. Passion to me is a simple touch. A touch that goes through your body and lights your entire soul on fire.

Thankful for today
Hello my Fast Life friends,
I have been away for a week and I missed each and everyone of you. I want to thank all of my Fast Life friends for all the bday wishes. I had a great bday. Now it's time to get back to work and do what I love to do and that's write and talk to my friends.
My birthday made me realize a lot of things and I would like to share with you, my family. Today I want to talk about being Thankful for today.

There are more people in the world angry, sad, confused and hurting. We all go through something and in today's time things are definitely not easy. Instead of coming together and helping one another, we would rather fuss and fight and hate on the people that could possibly help us. Instead of being sad we need to live each and everyday like it is our last. Life is way too short to be angry, sad, confused and hurting.
I am thankful for today because I am a better person then I was yesterday. I am thankful for today because I am striving for my dreams. I am thankful for today because I have the best Fast Life friends in the world. I am thankful for today because I have breath in my body and able to see another beautiful day even if it is 110 degrees. I am thankful for today because I have people that love me unconditionally. I am thankful for today because I am able to see 35 and I was told that I wouldn't see 21. I am thankful for today because I am able to come into your home and tell my story.

Carrying Other Peoples Problems
Hello my Fast Life friends,
I hope that everyone is doing well today and living your dreams to the fullest. Yesterday we talked about living your dreams and a lot of you really enjoyed the discussion. I am glad that you are enjoying your Trendy Topic of the day. If there is ever anything that you would love to discuss please let me know. We are family here and we can discuss anything. That's why today I want to discuss Problems. Not just any problems but carrying other peoples problems. Please make sure that you post your views on this discussion.
Trendy Topic of the day: Carrying Other Peoples Problems
Everyone today have problems. Today's economy makes us all have problems. It's all about how we deal with our problems.
There are people that want you to fix the problems that they are having not realizing that you have your own problems to fix. A lot of us feel like it is our obligation to help those that are close to us because we say that we love them. We feel like if we don't help then it makes us selfish. So what do we do? We put their problems on our shoulders and try to carry their problems and ours then we go into a depression with ourselves because it's too much to carry. Why do we do ourselves like this?
If your are the person that takes on everyone else's problems, it's time for you to break free and give their problems back to them and quick. We are not made to take on everyone else's problems. We are made to take on only our problems and no this does not make you selfish, it makes you smart and stress free. It's easy to handle your own problems because you know to take one problem at a time and handle it with ease.
Don't put more on yourself then you can handle because you are not being fair to yourself; and if you're not fair to yourself how do you expect others to treat you fair as well?
I say this from experience because I was once that girl that took on every ones problems because I didn't want to feel selfish or be called a bitch. I was not happy with myself but everyone that had dumped their problems on me were doing okay and no one thought about how I felt. I realized that I didn't want to do this any more. I didn't want to carry everyone else's baggage and carry mines to. I gave everyone back their problem and once I did that I realized that I didn't have any problems and the ones that I did were so small that it was practically nothing. I couldn't see that because everyone else's problems were blocking mine. Now I have more peace then I have ever had in my entire life and I do what I love to do and that's write and tell great stories. Not only do I do that but I also touch people's lives and make a difference and that's priceless. You can do the same if you give every ones problems back to them and take care of your own.

Living The Dream
Hello Fast Life friends,
I hope everyone had a great day and being productive with your time. I know that I am. There is not enough hours in the day to do everything that I need to do but I continue to stay busy and do what I have to do and stay focus on what's important to me.
Each and every day you allow me to come into your home and share my life with you. I appreciate you for taking the time to listen and also giving me feedback on what you feel is right or wrong as well. Everything that you tell me I take to heart and use it to better myself. Today I want to discuss something that we all know so well. Sometimes we chase it, sometimes we live it, sometimes we fight for it, and then there are times that we feel like we can't have it. Do you know what it is yet? Well if you haven't figured it out yet it's called a DREAM.

We all have dreams sometimes we live the dream, sometimes we chase the dream, sometimes we fight for the dream, and then there are times that we feel like we can't have the dream. Well I want to tell you that if you want the DREAM bad enough you will stop at nothing to have the dream.
So many of us were/are told that we aren't shit, ain't going to be shit and will never have shit. It's not easy knowing that the people that say they love you feel this way about you. Some of us believe what others think of us and then some of us don't care what they say because our determination is so strong that no matter what they say, we are determined to conquer the world.
People say that the sky is the limit well I say the moon is the limit because it goes way beyond the sky and there so many endless possibilities in the world, so why would you just want to stop there where there is so much further to go. Don't limit yourself to what you can do. If you want it you can have it, but you have to work hard for it because nothing is given to you.
For those that have it easy and have a great support system; appreciate what you have and cherish it with every breath in your body because without that support system you are out in the world alone with no one to turn to doing it on your own. It's not easy either because you have more people telling you that you can't do it then you have telling you that you can do it. Be smart who you allow in your circle because negativity will bring you down. If you hang with positive people then you will remain positive. Remember to always put you first and never put your dreams on the side for no one. It's time to get up and put your goals and life in order. It's time to start living the dream.

Making Dreams come true

Today we are going to talk about something that so many of us know about but are scared to try. We are going to discuss Dreams and making them come true. Something that is by far, easy to do. Dreaming is big. We all have dreams but some of us strive to live out those dreams. It's not easy being a self- published author. There is a lot of work involved in this and no one told me that I was going to have to work this hard. I realized that there would be some work but not this much work. My dreams are that I will be a best selling, published author and have my own organization; preventing teenage pregnancies and sexual abuse. Those are my main two goals right now and I am working extremely hard at both. I will stop at nothing until I succeed. It's hard having to promote your own book by yourself , write the next book and then also try to make sure that I am able live day to day. Although the journey has not been easy I have fought my way through every bit of it. I will not allow anyone to hold me back from my dreams or tell me that I can't live my dreams, because I am in control of my own destiny and you are too. If you want it bad enough you will fight to have what you want. Go get it and stop at nothing until you have what you want.

It's hard having to promote your own book by yourself , write the next book and then also try to make sure that I am able live day to day. Although the journey has not been easy I have fought my way through every bit of it. I will not allow anyone to hold me back from my dreams or tell me that I can't live my dreams, because I am in control of my own destiny and you are too. If you want it bad enough you will fight to have what you want. Go get it and stop at nothing until you have what you want.

Family Betrayal
Hello my friends,
I really hope that everyone had a wonderful day. I got a lot done myself. I have been working on the new book The UnMarritable that will be coming to you soon. I know that I have true friends because normally someone would complain about not getting their Trendy Topic of the day but my friends didn't complain or beat down my door looking for it. This is how I know that I have to hurry up and finish this second book. You're not beating down the door for the Trendy Topic but you are sure rushing me to get this second book to you and I am doing my best to do just that. I worked on it all day yesterday and since 9 a.m. this morning. I told you that I would bring you a Trendy Topic that everyone can relate to and I am keeping my word.
The one thing that we all can relate to is family betrayal. I see a lot of posts on facebook and twitter complaining about family. Today we are going to take this time and let it all go. Here we are allowed to express ourselves and say what's on our minds. So today is say what you feel and let it all go. Say what you have been wanting to say to a family member or about a family member. You do not have to put the names or your name to express how you feel just let it go. Trendy Topic of the day: Family Betrayal
You are my family and I never thought that you would betray me and make me feel like you have. When no one was there for you, I was. When you had no where to go, I opened my home to you. When everyone was against you, I stood up for you because you are my family. The day your kids were born I knew that they were precious and lil gems and would always love them like they were mine. You almost lost your children and I was there to step in and keep them out of harms way. You get mad at me over something I can't control. You can't fault me for the life you choose to live. I have only been there to help you pick up the pieces every time you fall. No matter how many times you gave me the shaft, I loved you anyways because you were my family. The to do the Unthinkable and take something so precious away from me because of your own stupidity is selfish and damn right cruel. How could you do another human being the way you do me and you call me your family. You took something away from me that can never be replaced and now I'm walking away from you and the betrayal you have put me through for good. I will never look back, and for the baby I will never see; I hope she stay blessed and protected at all times and never learn the cruelty that you have in your heart.

Here is the man that I have been looking for all of my life. The man that was in front of me all the time expressed to me the genuine love that he had for me. He never left me; he was waiting for the right time to come sweep me off my feet.
When we breathe we breathe as one, when we laugh it only has one sound, every time he looks at me I get weak to my knees and butterflies in my stomach, when he kisses me it's gentle and soft as a feather, and when we make love he knows how to send my body to ecstasy over and over again and now I can hear the precious sounds of the wedding bells or can I?
