Trendy Topic of the day: Support
Support to me is very important because it is not easy to do what you love to do if you don't have the support that you need. Everyone will not support you and you can't expect everyone to support you.
If one person or a couple of people support you, it is important that you hold on to that support and use the support to your advantage. Some people don't have support at all and believe that they can't do what they love to do.
As an author it is important that you have the support of your readers. Without the support of the readers you will not make it. A reader will make or break you. They will either like or hate the material that you produce. If you have more likes than hate you have a chance but if you don't you either keep trying until you get it right or give up. Me personally I will never give up on my dreams. The response that I get from you whether good or bad makes me stronger. With the responses and reviews I know what I have to work on to make me better at my craft. Everyone can't write just like everyone can't sing but no matter what they continue to try and strive to live their dreams.
I know that I can't support each and every person but I definitely try to support every person that I can. It doesn't matter if they are good, bad, new to the game or a pro. I don't discriminate. All I know is that the people that we look up to like Mary J. Blige, Maya Angelou, Cicily Tyson, Tyler Perry, T. I., just to name a few, had to have our support to be where they are today. The thing that I admire about these few is that no matter what came their way in life they continued to strive to live their dreams and they supported others. We have to come together and support one another.
Do you agree with this topic? Why?
Who is your biggest supporter? Why?
Would you support someone in the same field as you that is new to the game? Why?

Who's goin to be the better man?
Hello Fast Life family,
I hope that everyone had a great and productive day. Now it's time to unwind and take off the stress of the day. I am glad that you decided to do it with me. This week we have been getting a lot of new members and I am thankful for that. All this week I will be posting excerpts of the book Livin the Fast Life and next week we will switch it up a little bit. I also want to tell you to be looking for the promotions that I will be doing all month. Thank you for joining me each and everyday and spreading the word about the Fast Life family. Please feel free to post your comments.
Livin the Fast Life: Who's goin to be the better man?
We played dominoes and drank some more. Derrick took me by the hand and took me to the couch. We were sitting on the couch and Derrick and Maxwell started to debate on who was the better man for me. I could see that Derrick was determined not to lose me to Maxwell.
While Maxwell had gone to the bathroom, Derrick and I got a chance to talk some more in peace for a little while anyways. Derrick leaned over and kissed me and while he was kissing me Maxwell walked in the room and said "oh hell naw this ain't happening." Derrick and I looked up at him to see what he was tripping on and then out of nowhere Maxwell pulled out this ring and said "this could be yours if you get with me." I started laughing because the ring looked cheap as hell like it had came out of a bubble gum machine. Derrick asked him "why do she need that cheap ass ring, when she is walking around with a platinum card in her pocket?" I couldn't believe that he had said that but since he did I wanted to know where it was and then he reached in my pocket and pulled it out and showed it to me. Now I had his American Express and his Platinum card. Derrick looked at me and said "baby what time should I come pick you up so that you can go shopping?" I turned and looked at him "I will be ready at two," I responded. Derrick turned and looked at Maxwell and said "good night, better luck next time. Remember you can never win against the best." Derrick started laughing and we walked out the door.

Letter from Ronny
Hello Fast Life family,

Continue to spread the word and I promise to keep the discussions hot. You all are the best. Here is another excerpt of Livin the Fast Life. Livin the Fast Life: Letter from Ronny
I had received a letter from Ronny and he told me how much he missed me and how sorry he was for hurting me the way he had. Ronny told me that I was right about Lacy and he should have never messed with her. Lacy had set him up and he was paying for it now. I knew that this was giving him some time to think about what he had done. Ronny and I were writing each other on a regular basis because I knew that he was lonely and didn't have anyone to talk to. Ronny and I were still friends but I couldn't trust him anymore.
My feelings were fading for Derrick. I still loved him but I was still searching for that special one. Although Derrick was divorced he was still not trying to make that commitment to me.
I was not at home and Derrick had been in my house. When I walked in the house I could tell that someone had been there. I noticed that the letters that I had in my dresser were sitting out on the table with my pictures. I started to get nervous because I didn't know what was going on and then I heard Derrick pulling up. he just jumped out the truck and ran in the house. "Hey babe, how are you doing today?" I said. "Don't you baby me; was I your baby when you were writing to that nigga in jail?" I knew instantly what was wrong with him and I knew that we were getting ready to fight. "How would you notice that I've been writing anyone when you're never here?" "I would be around more if you weren't so needy." "Was I needy when you were begging for some of this goodness?" "That's beside the point, I ain't no trick," he yelled. "How would I know that you're not a trick, when the only time I see you is when you want sex?" Derrick wasn't happy that I had said that and he lunged at me and slapped me. I couldn't believe that he had hit me so I punched him and the fight was on.

Don't give a man all of you. Leave something for yourself
Hello Fast Life family,

Livin the Fast Life: Don't give a man all of you. Leave something for yourself.
My grandmother use to tell me to make sure that I kept a spare because you never knew when your good thang is going to have a blow out. All my life I lived by this especially when I realized that men couldn't be trusted. I gave a lot of myself to these men but I could never truly give them all of me because I knew that it wouldn't last. Every true relationship that I had, I wanted it to work out. I've been engaged so many times, but after being with a person after so many years they start to show their true colors.
People think that I cant commit or that I am scared of commitment but it's not that at all. The truth is that I can commit but men can't commit themselves to me. The men in my life loved me but they were not in love with me they were in love with my sweet candy apple. They could not love me enough to honestly make me their wife. I was not always their first priority and if I couldn't be their first priority I knew that I could not marry them. My belief for marriage is very strong and I don't believe in divorce. I feel like when two people make that commitment before God anything can be worked out. That's the reason why I haven't been married because I didn't want to marry for all the wrong reasons. When I get married it will be strictly because I love that person unconditionally just for who they are.
